Open Question: How do most Canadians feel about Europe and Europeans?

Do Canadians usually have a different view than some Americans? Is the Canadian media interested in what's going on in Europe, or is the focus mostly on your neighbour (USA)? lol BTW - I'm European (I live in Northern Europe), and I've always been intrigued by Canada, though (sadly) I've never been there.
